When you contrast, you look for ways that they are different. As we read and learn more about Nick and Mrs. Granger, start to think about ways that the two of them are alike and ways that they are different.

Remember, sequencing is when you put events in orders. As I'm reading, listen for those clue words that the author uses. They may be words like first, next, or then. Sometimes the author uses times of the day or days of the week.
