  Hi, Kiddos,
  
  This video will take you through the introduction for a decodable book. The skill we are working on is the -nk ending. This might be in glued sounds like unk, ank, or ink. In this recording you will practice analyzing and reading words with those sounds. This will continue into our decodable read, which will be in the next video!

  My third through sixth graders have been working on strategies to achieve reading success this year! These are skills/strategies like understanding main idea, supporting facts/details, cause and effect, and so on.
  This video will give you directions for how we are going to read and apply comprehension skills to a novel. Please review this video first, and then move to video number two.
