On May 2nd, the Armstrong School District in collaboration with the Armstrong School District Foundation hosted a district wide art exhibit throughout Armstrong Jr-Sr High School's cafeteria, gymnasium, lobby, and back parking lot, where food trucks were also featured. ARTS (Armstrong Remarkably Talented Students) offered a large art sale, live art demonstrations, musical performances in the auditorium, a 50/50 raffle, children’s activities, and student artwork available for purchase.
Funds raised during the event will benefit the Armstrong School District Foundation and will be returned to the district’s art and music departments in the form of grants. In addition, students who sold their artwork were able to make a profit from their sales, making the event both a celebration of student talent and an opportunity to support arts education throughout the district.
