I earned by Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 2004 and began substitute teaching immediately.  I went back for my Master's Degree in 2006 while substitute teaching and completed my Master's in Literacy in 2008, which provided me qualification to teach reading, writing, spelling, grammar/English from grades kindergarten to 12th grade.   I taught Title 1 Reading at private schools in the area through a company named Catapult Learning.  I was hired full time by Armstrong School District in August 2010.

 

I am so very blessed that I am able to be a teacher.  I positively love my job, the students I have taught (I still am in contact with many who have graduated), the students I currently have, and am looking forward to many future students.
